KNN, MCH, CCB...fucking hell

don't die meh like that. it's 10.27pm and still the road downstairs my condominium is still jammed up because of the shell station. constant horns and noise pollution is the way malaysia wanna go towards achieving wawasan 2020. fucking hell man, don't wanna use profanity also cannot. looks like have to wait till it's midnight before this ordeal finishes. even got police ronda come handle the peace. shitman, i wonder whether anyone got hurt in this fucking petrol crisis. if it's like that now, i really worry for the future days to come when everything increases in price due to the transportation cost. what about in august man when the price increases again. might as well as go buy plane ticket and jump aeroplane and work as dish washer overseas better la. might have better future.......KNN, MCH, CCB

petrol hike...electricy hike...gas hike...totally pissed !!!!!!

this is what's happening to every road nearby any petrol station. this are the pictures i just took when coming back home. vehicles everywhere trying to get into and out of the petrol station to grab as much petrol as they can. phew, luckily i managed to get into some for myself too. yeah i know, it's not gonna save much, but something is better than nothing.

petrol in malaysia is gonna be increased from RM 1.92 to RM 2.70 as off 12.00am 5th june 2008. what in the world in happening to our country. it's getting from bad to worse. we are a petroleum producing country and now they say that we have to pay higher and higher prices. yes, their giving us a subsidy when we pay our roadtax but it's still rubbish as by my own personal calculations, i'm still paying more !!!!! My monthly petrol consumption is around RM 500 and now with the 41% hike i'm gonna be paying around RM 705 having a difference of RM 205. multiply that by 12 month it's gonna be RM 2,460.00. As i'm one of those lucky one sitting a car that is below 2,000cc, i'm supposed to get RM 625 as a subsidy when i renew my roadtax which means i'm still paying an extra RM 1,835 which is utter rubbish when other countries who are producing petroleum are enjoying proper petrol prices because their the citizens of that country. what about all the other increase of other needs. higher petrol prices equals higher transportation cost in which will increase higher cost of living. now i have a great idea, why don't they have a law stating that employers have to pay use extra allowance to go to work ? how in the world are we malaysians gonna survive when our salary only increase maybe 3-5% but our cost of living definitely is increased more than that. Electricity is to be increased on the 1st of july 2008, again causing pain to us citizens of malaysia. Gas also !!!

Tell you what, why don't of us use candles to light our homes and ride bicycles in order to save cost. after all that is what their asking us to do. yeah right, malaysia boleh. instead of going forward, we're going backward. now the only fucking problem for me is that i do not know how to ride a bicycle let alone a motorcycle so i wouldn't be able to cut cost on petrol so i guess the government is indeed doing a good deed for me since their so called forcing me to exercise as i'm gonna have to walk to anywhere i wanna go.

totally pissed !!!!!!!!!

happy wesak day and i'm lazy

happy wesak day ! i've been lazy and busy the pass few days and i've neglected my blog. boohoo...anyways went to the temple near jalan peel for prayers on wesak day and there was so many people there. photos are blur as didnt bring my digital camera along and i don't own one of those state of the art carl zeiss lens camera (using my cheap and faithful sony ericsson k618i only la, don't laugh ok). one thing i don't understand some people where they go to a temple to pray and they start wearing mini skirts and hot pants and spaghetti straps tops. what kinda of respect are they giving. it's totally crap to me. maybe some of these people think that it's like a night out clubbing. funny i tell you. toodles....

adsense taiko free download

i was looking into some of the ways of monetizing my blog since i thought maybe, just so maybe i could find some extra pocket money for myself blogging when i stumbled upon noktahhitam's blog. Of course a lot of people have heard of jason tan and his adsense taiko ebook. i was in fact quite willing to pay for the ebook to see what he was offering when i stumbled upon noktahhitam's blog and his war against adsense taiko because he got scammed from them. well basically from noktahhitam's post, he wasn't happy with what adsense taiko had to offer and wanted a refund in which adsense taiko refused. so he posted the ebook for everyone to download for free since it's supposed to be crap. anyways those who want to have a look at what adsense taiko has to offer can always download the ebook from hoktahhitam's blog. enjoy....

luscious girls watches finally in malaysia

yes, their finally here. i was surfing around Lelong and found that someone is selling Luscious Girls Watches. Luscious Girls was introduced in europe by MGL featuring 3 fascinating women to expand various stylish businesses. the 3 women, Amber, Jaz and Chloe who lead the fashion trend, are passionate, cool and have personality with stylishness. They express various Lusciousness with their features. i stumbled upon this brand when my friend came back from korea and bought some of luscious girls watches which is hot in the korean fashion world and gave one to my wife. i found them very trendy and my wife loves it. ever since i've been trying to see where to buy more of their designs and now i've finally found someone in malaysia that sells them. the watches are reasonably priced and their quality is of par. it's just not those darn fashion watches you pay RM 80.00 - 100.00 for in the shopping malls. these luscious girls watches really are worth the money in terms of trendiness and price. for those of you who are interested in the watches, you can hop over to Jolum's Amazing Store and have a look and maybe buy one. now it's time to email the seller and ask him whether i could get a discount for putting a so called review for them here in my blog. lol. toodles

food fair dinner @ niu ze xui, ara damansara

a friend of mine just started a food fair in ara damansara's niu ze xui commercial centre. i've been to niu ze xui some time ago when they first opened in the beginning of the year and the place really lacks customers and there's not enough shops opened anyways. it is still the same now but with a little food fair that will last until early june. food there is ok. we ordered many types of your everday food court food and found the 3 best dishes to be the tom yam (sold by thai people), fried broad noodles (char kuey tiaw) and the bbq skewered pork (bbq char siew). prices are cheap as the food cost around RM 4-5 per serving. not bad for that area. the management of niu ze xui organised a live band in front of the food fair but that is really the downside of it all. you have a local group that consist of members that are almost as old as my mother entertaining diners with very loud speakers interfering with your conversations at hand. we practically had to shout to hear each other speak. nevertheless, god was with us as the band only sang for 30 minutes and alas the ambience became more soother to the ears.

overall i will go there again not because of my friend but also for the food. but then again driving 40km to and fro my home is also gonna be a major downside with petrol prices ever so high. so for those of you who stays around the area, do drop by and have a taste of the food there. toodles.

penang chief minister travelling economy class

i stumbled upon a fellow malaysian's blog {http://mrmanager.blogspot.com} and stumbled upon his latest posting. he managed to catch penang's chief minister YAB Lim Guan Eng flying to penang in economy class. now this is leadership by example. i mean the leaders of our country should travel like him. it's a good example where they are the common man and not wasting our hard earned tax payers money. hurrah for YAB Lim Guan Eng for settle a great example for the others. it is high time the government stop wasting money on ridiculous projects and misuse of tax payers money for materialistic living. thanks to mrmanager for bringing this great photo to us. for the original post, visit http://mrmanager.blogspot.com/2008/05/have-you-seen-chief-minister-sit-in.html

wah this fish spa business really getting on

as many of my readers might remember, not long ago i posted about a nice fish spa in tropicana (refer to earlier posting here). well this afternoon when i was walking around pearl point shopping complex in old klang road i found something rather amusing. whilst going for a spa treatment will definately cost you much money, i introduce to you d'touch health and beauty fish spa lol. only for rm 30 you too can get the garra ruffas to eat your dead skin off your foot. the set up is just like your everyday kiosk in a shopping complex. everyone can see you put your foot in there and then people will be thinking omg, that lady (refer to photo) foot surely a lot dead skin lol. now the thing about business in malaysia is, trends like this tend to move in a wave and once the wave is over, it'll be old story. unfortunately for some of the better spas, i think this trend is going fast as with kiosk like that operating i won't be surprised it's even gonna start in our weekly night markets lol. actually, i was thinking of trying this fish spa thing as being fat really creates a lot dead skin but i'm just not sure how it feels or which place is the best to go in terms of value for money. do drop me a line if you have any ideas. toodles

well dinner was a blast....not

finally decided to go to tesco extra in cheras taman midah to have dinner in food & tea restaurant. unfortunately when we reach there, the place was swarmed with diners and with no place to sit we had to look for something else to eat. there was eaither chicken rice shop and boston grill, both of which i hate to go because the food taste like shit and the prices are high. i don't mind paying high prices but at least for decent food. anyways all of us were getting very hungry and my mom need to get food to pump in his daily dose of drugs by her needle {she's on insulin, don't get crazy ideas} so we had no other choice but to eat at the food court. the food court also was packed with people but we managed to find a place to seat and ordered our food.

what can i say, i was looking forward to a nice dinner tonight and i ended up with shit. i had the chicken rice had no other taste but the so called bbq sauce. man even my hainanese chicken rice ala fanatico taste 100 times better {i'm not joking}. Anyways the popiah was also shit, we leave it uneaten actually after tasting two pieces. it was like stuffed with yesterdays leftovers. the only consolation was the leng chee kang where was ok. nothing special but how can you go wrong with leng chee kang eh. you would really have to be a serious fucked up dumbass to screw up leng chee kang.

please people, don't ever in your life eat in tesco's foodcourt even if you're starving. you'll end up killing yourself.

dinner time !!

ok ok it's time for dinner and i haven't a clue what or where to go eat. do you guys out there ever have the same problem where you need to go out for dinner but just don't seem to know where or just what to eat. my mum and wife can't seem to agree on what to eat with me. basically i'm a meat person and my wife is a veggie person and my mum, haih my mum will eat anything under the sun but her health is restricting many foods.

so again i guess i'll just jump into my car and follow where the wind takes me eh ? hopefully we don't end up in some shitty place for dinner.

fill you guys in on where we finally ate later. if any of you have any great nice places to share, please do post a comment. toodles

虽然我愿意 Although I'm Willing by 伍家辉

check out this latest hit "sui ran wo yuan yi" by our very own malaysian singer wu jia hui. this singer really hit the waves with his high pitched voice. in fact he could easily be mistaken for a female singer instead of a male. He just released his debut album "although i'm willing" after his hit song "one half" from the soundtrack to Royston Tan’s getai (street concert) drama 881.

note: sorry folks, he embedded imeem file is loading a bit slow but it's worth the wait. enjoy

hainanese chicken rice ala fanatico

oh my oh my, yesterday's dinner was cooked by me !! i attempted to cook hainanese chicken rice for the family and alas it went quite well. everyone was happy with it and nobody had to be admitted to the emergency ward. didn't really do anything fancy, just boil the chicken and scald the veggies. oh course chicken rice can't be without that fragrant chicken oil rice hence i did that too. my rice came out a bit flat due to me not wanting to put in too much chicken stock as the chicken i bought didn't have much fat on it. anyways as i said the food came out well and we finished every bit of it except the cabbage cause i overdid the portion. all in all, food is edible and good for my family's standard but i don't think i'm gonna be changing my business to selling chicken rice anytime soon.

visa blues : final destination

well i'm back home in kuala lumpur and i'm posting this to update you guys on what happened on the so called final leg of my visa blues. well after a iring trip at hatyai, my wife and i were at the dreaded malaysian border again. guess what i went into immigration and presented my marriage certificate and our passports to the officer in charge. guess what, again we were sent to the office before they would allow my wife to enter.what the fuck ??? spouse of citizen man !!! isteri kepada warganegara !!!! oh well in we go to the office and the officer there then looks at my marriage certificate and asks me why i haven't open file in immigration for my wife. jeez i felt like screwing him up as it clearly states that our registration was only 2 weeks ago. he should know that opening file will never be that fast. anyways i explained to him what happened and he sternly tells me to make sure i open file. what a dumbass, of course i wanna open file for my wife in the immigration department so hat she can get a multiple entry long term visa.

people of malaysia, you have spoken in the elections !! opposition parties, you have won many seats and it's time to make sure you do whatever you can to make changes for a better malaysia. after all this ordeal, it really makes me wonder whether i wanna just go to vietnam and stay there my whole entire life. at least they treasure their citizens as well and foreign spouses.

ok dinner time, wife nagging again. du ma noi nhieu wa !!!!

second day in hatyai

well it;s been a tiring day here in hatyai. went to go for prayers in the morning and to walk around the market in the afternoon. wife went crazy buying fruits (her number 1 diet apart from vegetables, yup i married a rabbit) but nevertheless we had a great time. in the evening we went for the dinner and cabaret show. It's called the Hansa Palace Cabaret and most of the performers are actually not females but transgenders a.k.a akua. anyways we enjoyed the show and now we're back in the hotel having a rest before our nightcap. my posting isn't gonna be a long as the wifi in my hotel room has seized to work again and it's really stupid sitting down in the lobby alone using a damn notebook in hatyai. anyways it's life whn you have work eh. have some great pictures to post but i'm lazy at the moment to edi them clearly for you to watch. will definitely post them onced i'm back in kuala lumpur. toodles for now

visa blues : destination hatyai, thailand

well en route to hatyai, thailand to get my wife's visa done and also for an unofficial holiday. i choose to go by bus since it's cheaper than driving and flying wasn't a option for me since i had to get my wife out fast. anyways i bought bus tickets with Konsortium Bus Express as i was fascinated by their snoozer seat and i'm very pleased. each seat is motorized and have ample leg room to sleep in. each seat also has their own entertainment system where you can choose different movies and music to your liking. I found it at a great value for money at only RM 50 per person as the other buses cost RM 45 and the leg room is shit. we setted off at about 11pm and reach the bukit kayu hitam border at around 5am and waited till 6am to get the immigration. ah yes back to immigration, fuck again as just because my wife's a vietnamese, they made me go to the office to get her passport stamped. the officer then asked me many questions about how long i going to thailand, am i really married, where's my marriage certificate while in the midst of talking to many other bus drivers there (very friendly too during working hours and in the office). anyways after about 20 minutes for the officer to finish his morning chats with his peers, my wife's passport was stamped and i had to line up again to get my own passport stamped as the officer refused to stamp for me even when i said please help as the bus is waiting for us a long time. there was no smile, no friendliness or whatsoever. all these unnecessary loss of time even when my wife is leaving the country and not entering it.

Now to many angry eyes in the bus i was finally back and the driver could continue our journey. when i was at the thailand immigration and i would like to really give my two thumbs up to the immigration there. all the officer asks me is the reason for entering thailand and i told him holiday with my wife. ask me for marriage certificate and i produce and then the officer stamped the passport and you know what, he was courtesy, friendly and smilling all the time. he even added please enjoy your stay in thailand. now it seems to me the new thai government and the immigration are really doing their job.

i mean who in the world would want to go to a country where you basically be made feeling uneasy. would that be the best first impression we want to give tourist entering our country ? whilst many immigration officers at klia and lcct have been really courteous and great (in my experience), bukit kayu hitam really has to get their act together.

well i'm finally in hatyai and i'm in a very cozy hotel with wifi services in the rooms. in fact many of the hotels now in hatyai have FREE wifi in their rooms. i will update on that later. in the meantime, som tam here i come !!!!!
